Kimberly was a counselor for 10 years, ran a group practice, supervised, was certified in conventional evidence-based modalities, and worked within the insurance managed care maze. As a trained pastoral counselor, Kimberly’s heart has always been spiritually integrated psychotherapy. She stepped out of the system after seeing how the system can keep clients in psychological loops, simply based on how the business model is so tightly regulated and capitalist-based. Kimberly believes that thorough informed consent and education are imperative, along with supporting trauma processing and integration/embodiment. As a consultant, Kimberly has more freedom to help clients get the results they want without getting trapped in the medical industrial complex.
